Maggie graduated from Purdue University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. During her undergraduate career, Maggie conducted research projects in various disciplines. She incorporated a machine-learning algorithm into the design of a novel hand gesture recognition wristband for upper extremity rehabilitation. She also participated in research efforts to further understand energy localization of explosives through the use of phosphor thermography. After graduating from Purdue, Maggie continued her studies at Rice University, where she received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2023. Her research at Rice focused on improving the computational design and evaluation process of custom-made pelvic implants for treating pelvic sarcoma. Maggie joined Fletcher Yoder in November 2023 as a technical advisor.
