Phillip graduated from Louisiana State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. While at LSU, Phillip was an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and was part of a team that created a prototype for an automated water potability tester for use in disadvantaged communities across the world. In 2017, Phillip began law school at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU, where he worked as a patent analyst at the LSU Office of Innovation and Technology Commercialization. Phillip joined Fletcher Yoder in September of 2020.
