At Fletcher Yoder, we are very proud of the firm culture that we have created over the past 30 years.  We value our comradery both professionally and socially.  With regard to the latter, the firm has events year round, and these events are planned through a combination of our Recruiting Committee, our DEI Committee and our Social Committee.

Recruiting Committee Events

As with most firms, Fletcher Yoder hosts recruiting events during the summer as part of our summer associate experience.  These events often include off site bowling, Top Golf, go cart tracks, Flight Club, and wine tastings, as well as in-office happy hours, pool tournaments, custom-built in-office putt putt tournaments, cornhole challenges and ping pong tournaments.

DEI Committee Events

In addition, the DEI Committee promotes inclusion in the firm with various events throughout each year.  Such events include themed lunches or afternoon appetizers for Black History month, Asian and Pacific Islander month, Pride month and Hispanic Heritage month.  Other inclusive events include a Book Club, Lunar New Year celebrations, volunteer work with the kids at the Houston Food Bank, and the occasional food truck or ice cream social.

Social Committee Events

On top of all that, the Social Committee plans and sponsors several events every year.  These events often include a Kick Ball tournament (not for the faint of heart), crawfish socials, weekly Thursday evening happy hours, pickle ball tournaments, and a Rodeo Chili Cookoff, not to mention the Fletcher Yoder Annual Holiday Party.  And the “firm kids” are not left out, as Fletcher Yoder has a yearly Santa visit and in-office Trick or Treating for the kiddos.
