Jeff Sinclair

Jeff graduated from Baylor University in December 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in vibrational analysis. He continued his studies at Texas A&M University, where he focused his research on the vibrational analysis of rotordynamic systems. In particular, Jeff worked for two years at the Texas A&M Turbomachinery Laboratory researching the rotordynamics of rub rings and impact dampers with his advisor, Dr. John Vance. In May 1995, Jeff completed his master’s thesis on the subject and was awarded a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

After engineering school, Jeff began working at Fluor Daniel in Sugar Land, Texas as an engineer in the company’s pipeline department. In his first few years at Fluor Daniel, Jeff specialized in computational hydraulic analysis of pipelines. He subsequently moved into a project management role, working on several multi-billion dollar international pipeline projects such as the Caspian Pipeline Project in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan and the Alianza Camisea Pipeline Project in Peru. During his years at Fluor Daniel, Jeff attended night school at the University of Houston from which he graduated with a master’s degree in business administration (“MBA”) in December 2001.

Jeff left Fluor Daniel in 2000 to begin working as a consultant and soon after began working on several projects for Halliburton in Houston, Texas. After a few years as a consultant, Jeff began working full-time with the company. During his time at Halliburton, he worked on several projects related to oilfield services operations and associated information technology solutions. Also during his years at Halliburton, Jeff attended night school at the University of Houston, in pursuit of a law degree. During law school, Jeff served as an associate editor for the Houston Journal of International Law. He was awarded a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in May 2007 and passed the July 2007 Texas Bar Exam.

Jeff joined Fletcher Yoder in August 2007, after clerking for the firm the previous summer. His practice focuses on computer hardware and software, mechanical and electromechanical systems and devices, heating and cooling systems and devices, medical systems and devices, and industrial systems and controls.
