Gunnar Heinisch

Gunnar graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. While pursuing his degree, he interned with General Motors in Warren, Michigan, working in the Design Department on concept vehicles and alternative fuel systems. After completing his degree in 1999, Gunnar worked for National Instruments Corporation in Austin, Texas, as an Applications Engineer, Manufacturing Test Engineer, and Marketing Manager. As an Applications Engineer he provided application-specific support in the design and implementation of computer-based test systems. In this role, Gunnar supported various products, including data acquisition hardware, as well as graphical and text-based software. As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, his tasks included development and implementation of computer-based test software and hardware for high-speed digital hardware products. As a Marketing Manager, he managed PXI and VXI computer-based test platform products.

After working at National Instruments for over four years, Gunnar enrolled in the University of Houston Law Center. During law school he was active in the Intellectual Property Student Organization and the Environmental & Energy Law & Policy Journal. Gunnar clerked at Fletcher Yoder during the summer of 2006. He graduated from law school in May of 2007 and passed the July 2007 Texas Bar Exam. Gunnar joined Fletcher Yoder full-time in the fall of 2007.

His areas of specialization include mechanical and electrical systems and devices, computer hardware and software, medical systems and devices, and industrial systems and controls.
