Michael BartholomewMichael graduated from the DeVry University in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. Upon graduation, Michael joined the Electrical Engineering department of Orbital Sciences Corporation, where he spent the next four years designing and supervising system integration projects. Michael then spent another two years working in Orbital Science's Guidance Navigation and Control (GN&C) department. Additonally, while working at Orbital Sciences, Michael also obtained an MBA degree from Keller Graduate School of Management. In 2007, Michael left Orbital Sciences to begin law school at the University of Iowa, where he served as President of the Intellectual Property Law Society (IPLS) and as Managing Editor of the Transnational Law and Contemporary Problems (TLCP) journal. During law school, Michael was awarded the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property and graduated with distinction. Michael joined Fletcher Yoder in September 2010, after clerking for the firm during the summer of 2009. Michael is a member of the Texas state bar, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Michael’s practice focuses primarily on patent preparation and prosecution. Michael’s areas of technological familiarity include: computer hardware and software; semiconductor devices; computer architecture; memory devices; control systems; electrical interconnects; computer security; telecommunications; medical imaging systems; HVAC systems, and a wide variety of other electrical and mechanical arts. |
